Hello. I'm trying to rip sprites/textures from Sega Naomi games (like the arcade version of Rhythm Tengoku). I'm using Demul (a Dreamcast and Naomi emulator), but i don't know how to rip sprites and textures from the Sega Naomi.

Has anyone here ever had experience with ripping sprites and textures from Dreamcast and Naomi games and using an emulator that can run games on the Sega Naomi and Dreamcast? If so, I would appeciate it if you can help me. Thank you.

Greetings and salutations fellow pixel mongers, if this thread has been erroneously created or misplaced, I apologize. Long time site/forum lurker (Talkin' since at least 2009) finally creeping out from the shadowy depths and registering to spew forth this glob of digital vomit unto your eyes. Asking for constructive critiquing and helpful suggestions before I finalize and sheet them. The characters depicted below are one-off "rough drafts" for a long-time planned/shelved game project I've only recently begun to re-explore since I've got more time on my hands than an overstocked watch salesman.

Quick descrips.

1. Stein (A hyper-intelligent A.I. who acts like a ditzy cheerleader.)
2. TS-17 Gravedigger (Stein's armored robotic shell.)
3. Thanatos (A grim  reaper and a drunken a$$hole.)
4. Dahlia (A vampire assassin.)
5. Mr. Zed (An ex-P.O.W. given supernatural abilities in an experiment.)
6. The Stitch-face Killa (A homicidal maniac.)
7. Frostbite (A lycanthrope with a high powered revolver and a freeze ray.)
8. Beez L. Bub (A male demon with lightning magic and a railgun.)
9. Lucile Ferr (A female demon with fire magic and a napalm bazooka.)
10. Skeletank (A cyborg tank with a large demon's brain.)

Of those three things I enjoy only one and it's probably not the one you think it is. I'm not new here in the sense this is my first venture into these fansational forums but I am new in the sense that I'm newly registered and begun posting instead of solely lurking. I'm from Earth, am a reasonable facsimile of a male humanoid being, and was spawned roughly around the time the NES hit North American shores. My interests include cycling air, circulating blood, caterwauling favored musical tunes, the occasional use of mildly psychotropic narcotics and the vehement use of a vastly voluminous variety of vexing verbiage.

I hope to spend many more hours, days and weeks amidst you fine netizens escaping from the dreadfully unpleasant and remarkably unavoidable drama of my present living arrangement...

Looking for a certain program

Hello, everyone! I'm currently ripping sprites from a game called "Gakuen Hetalia" for the PSP and I was wondering if there was a program that could organize sprites and put them together? I'll explain what I mean.

If you look at Seychelles' sprites here, she has her base, her eyes, and her mouth animations.
(Which is great! Thanks to PPSSPP, GLIntercept, and the wonderful tutorial posts here about sprite ripping from PSP games w/ PPSSPP, I've been able to start something I hope to finish.)

I could have sworn I saw a post about a tool that can organize split images/sprites together, but I can't seem to find it again.  In this case, it would be use to properly align her eye and mouth sprites over her base. I understand it can be done manually, but since I believe I saw a tool for it somewhere here, I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask. It would also be especially helpful to place the extremely split backgrounds in this game together properly for usage and uploading to TSR. But, if I am mistaken, I apologize. Either way, feedback is much appreciated!

The backgrounds currently look like this:

Any directions, clarification, advice, discussion, and/or solutions would be very appreciated! Thank you for your time and I hope you have a nice day!

PvZ Heroes Downloaded Data Audio?

I'm trying to rip SFX and such from Plants vs Zombies Heroes, however, the base archive where the base data does not have any real sfx. It's Unity powered, so using Perfare's version of Unity Studio should be able to work. I would just like to know how to get the actual archive data that's downloaded through the app. I mean I've seen modders do stuff with the game, but I have no idea how to get the data I need...

Anyone got any ideas? I could really use some help with this. Unsure

Hey guys! I'd like to have the event voices for Megadimension Neptunia VII (there can't be that many), but I don't have a PS4 or anything like that. I'm pretty new to this site, so I don't know how this works. I'd like to pay, but I don't have any money on me. However, I'd be willing to pay some other way. If you're able to do it, let me know and we'll negotiate payment!

Our Team so far
1337gamer15- Project Lead, Main Character Designer, Environmental Designer, Document Designer.
Karasz- Enemy Designer, Logo Design, Various Promotional Arts

Been working on this project since October 2016, planning the game thoroughly and all. Worked a ton on design documents, and concept art for a long time.

It's only til recently that I've finally decided to get something functional rolling.

I'm mainly making this fangame just to prove to people that I have what it takes to make games. It's the only fangame I'm gonna make before I move onto doing my own original stuff.

I'm using the MEGA Engine made by Wrecking Programs. Managed to port it to Game Maker Studio 2 (albeit with an fmod problem, I think the fmod just needs to be updated)

Of course, it didn't take long for me to realize how difficult programming is...

I've made a wee bit o' progress myself, such as modding the Star Crash into Swarm Shield, Butterfly Man's weapon. There's still some functionality missing, like giving the shield health, and allowing the player to fall slower when they have the shield on.

So now I'd really like to ask

Is there anyone out there with decent gml programming experience that could help me put this game together?

Because it's my aim to be a designer, not a developer, and I can't say I see myself being a programmer in the future.

What I am capable of though, is making all the art assets, the sprites, all that stuff.

And if you'd like to help, all you'd need to worry about is just getting the enemies, bosses, weapons, menus and such functional.

Things like sprites, BGs, and level design are all gonna be handled by me.

If payment is needed for your services, then I'm willing to do so.

Also we're gonna need someone that can compose Mega Man styled music

More info on the game

I'm also hoping folks could give me some feedback regarding the concept of this project.
Please bear in mind that I've been working on it for months, and it may not be so easy for me to change things like the robot masters, as I've already determined how their stages work, their weaknesses, and how they interfere with them in aspects besides just simply dealing more damage.
I could change their designs a bit, but it won't be easy since they'll need fit the descriptions of their powers and abilities accordingly.
Please provide as much guidance as you can when it comes to redesigning a robot master.

For things like changing the layout of a stage, that won't be too hard.

If you're interested in working on this project, send me a PM.

I am currently in the process of ripping models from a Wii game, and I need BRRES viewer to see the models, however the link in Jetters' post to BRRES viewer no longer works.

Is the link outdated, or is BRRES Viewer no longer accessible?

PS2 Rip problems (History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi)

Hello everyone,

i tried hard to rip 2 character models from the PS2 game "History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi" because i need them as reference for my own character model i am creating atm.
I've got some results but still everything i rip is messed up.

-----------------------------
Things i tried:

So first i tried NinjaRipper combined with a PS2 emulator "PSX2 0.9.8" and versions above. The .rip files it created i loaded into 3Dsmax and tried to locate and
fix the model. But the mesh and textures were so messed up and wrong so i couldn't use it for anything.

Then i heared that PSX2 has a screenshot to OBJ function which only exist in version "0.9.8", but not in any other versions above.
So the game kept crashing with that old version until i found out a soulution in the options and managed to make the OBJ file
and import it into Blender. Unfortunately, even the model was better now, it still was a bunch of clunky and messy vertices after all.
Tried to fix the face normals but these were flipped randomly over the mesh, tried to remove doubles and merge the parts but
no use it was too messed up so i gave up on that.

-----------------------------

So i am out of ideas and i am really suprised that someone managed to get some models from the game here:
https://www.models-resource.com/playstat...lekenichi/

The models were ripped by "maver1k_XVII"
I am trying to rip the models from the characters "Natsu Tanimoto" and "Berserker". They were not ripped by maver1k_XVII,
but the fact that he managed to rip these models means that there has to be a way.
Does anyone know how he ripped the models from that game or a safer method to rip PS2 games in geneal?

Thanks in advance!

So after going through many threads, I had no luck with my search for all the sound files from Battlefield 3 and 4. So I just wanted to ask if anyone has ripped the files from these games or maybe knows a simplistic way of ripping sounds from them? Past files I have found that were posted were mainly corrupted or in some weird format.

Total newbie to ripping here, I was trying to reverse engineer some models from INSIDE (Playdead games, http://www.playdead.com/games/inside/) using Unity. I haven't used it in ages, so I had no clue what to do. Anyone else have this game/know how to rip the models? Thanks!
