Old arcades sprites rips

I was playing around with the old bemani games, perfectly emulabe with MAME.
Is there any way to rip them, besides hard ripping?
Those games also have some chds, but i can't extract files from them

I'm thinking of getting into sprite ripping and I've ripped Leonardo from this retro game: I'm just after some input, like how to improve the Sheet itself, or if the icon is good enough. Keep in mind that I haven't finished the game yet, so I'm not sure if I've got everything on the sheet.

As for what's next: I've got all the sprites for "Krang" and "Foot Ninja", I just have to sheet them. I've also got the idle animations of Raphael & Donatello. Let me know  what you think, so I can repair this one if need be, and before I sheet the remainder of the game!

Trouble ripping from JP mobile game

So, I started dabbling with data mining from mobile Android games using Bluestacks, VMXRay and CriPakTools. I was able to find all the sprites (which are already posted on TSR by volo) from the English version of Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, so I decided I would try the same thing for the JP version of the game, which has exclusive units (sprites) that nobody has ripped yet.

So I did everything I did with the English version, but for some reason, most of the PNG files I end up getting from the JP version APK are unreadable and can't be opened on my PC. I tried using a different APK file of the same game, but the same thing happened. Anybody have any idea why this is, and if there's a way around it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

OBJ files of Tetra and Midna from Hyrule Warriors Broken?

Hey guys,

I tried downloading and opening up Midna and Tetra from Hyrule warriors (Link Tongue  : https://www.models-resource.com/wii_u/hy...del/16175/) but I am getting an error in Maya. 

Maya spits out the following: Error: line 0: OBJ file line 19139: index out of range for face creation.

I tried using another program to open them but it just crashes  Very Sad


Any suggestions? Thank you!!

Hi, I'm new on this subject.
To use spritesheet in a project should I separate all sprites?
To make a correct animation all sprites should have the same dimension(?) but spritesheets frames has different dimension...
There is no xml telling how sprites are positioned and dimensioned.
When you use sprites what is your workflow?

So Source games use .vta (vertex animation) for model expressions.

Now I was wondering for HL2 rips, should I use a .vta, or a blender file with the model already imported with the .vta?

Considering RPCS3 can play Heavy Rain now I figured I'd download it and give it a shot, the game works fine but the real reason I even bothered was for the game's models. Alas, GLXtractor and the other plethora of tools couldn't do anything about it.

Is there any sort of tool out there that can hook OpenGL 4.3 x64, for the sake of dumping geometry?
Or, is there any sort of tool that can hook Vulkan or DirectX12 for the sake of dumping geometry?

Given recent events and one certain "Admin", I'm literally fed up with submitting content, just to have a majority of it "rejected" ever since said "Admin"  has become an admin, add to the fact that this one Admin seems too has forced away another member who was trying to help, and now... My content wasn't being approved, because it wasn't rigged.

For the below, I am being thoroughly sarcastic, and trying to prove a point... Don't delete nothin, 
I'd also like to ask ANY "Admin" to delete the following submitted content that shouldn't have been approved, due to no rigging, even though rigiing was possible, because for the many years of submissions, not one complaint until, THAT "ADMIN" (this could take a fuckin while....)

We'll start at the top of the list, Mobile models: 


Batman: 1970, Batman: Animated, Batman: Arkham City, Batman: Beyond, Batman: Dark Knight Returns, Batman: Earth One, Batman: Incorporated, Batman: Year One, Deathstroke: Arkham City, Harley Quinn: Arkham City, Joker, Arkham City, Kano: Arkham City, Poison Ivy: Arkham City, Robin: Arkham City...

Well, you know what might be quicker: Delete every model I've submitted to the "Mobile" category, cause all of those mother fuckers are WRONG!!!. On to PC mother fuckers!!!

Now, you see how I've been submitting to tMR this way for years shitbreak, and just cause you have some shitty little fuckin title under your name, don't mean I'm gonna start doing it YOUR way. As fuckin' far as I'm concerned, I met the requirements for a successful submission... JUST LIKE EVERY ONE OF THE OTHERS YOU DECLINED!!! Not once had I got a rejected submission for 

  • Manually bonded submeshes destroyed the material texture assignment to various submeshes. This, in turn, can cause rendering issues, and the submeshes need to be un-bonded.
So I hope you're thoroughly fucking happy, because you are the one "admin" I've ever known to make 2 users leave this fuckin site... Kudos, on setting this website back 10 steps.

i extracted all bosses from Kaiju Busters using MKDS, but they are
compressed into .Lz files and i don't know how to decompress them

I ripped the Astronaut outfit and the Tragic Clown head, and I'm just wondering, for outfits, should I include the hands? Hands can come in different textures and gestures, and I don't know if I should upload the neutral hands with outfits or uninclude them and upload all the hands? And, some outfits use the same body mesh, but with different textures. Should I add the textures to the archive?
