These sounds I submitted from April 26, 2017 still aren't approved (and won't get approved very soon because the approval process is usually slow on this site; no offense to the guys who need to approve it, it's just how it is), I'll just post them here as a Dropbox link.

I ripped:
Character voices in English - 1819 files
Character voices in German - 1819 files
Notes for the voice clips:
Some of the voice clips needed to be exported manually through Audacity from aif to wav. VGSC was only able to open most of them.

Adult voices - 18 files
Notes for the adult voices:
"Erwachsene" is German for "adults".

Environment sounds - 8 files
Notes for the environment sounds:
"Atmo" is short for "Atmosphäre" which is German for "atmosphere" or "ambience". But "enviroment sounds" is what The Sounds Resource often calls it.

Woodstock - 5 files
Notes for the Woodstock sounds:
"Vogel" is German for "bird". There are multiple birds in the game that use these sounds, including Woodstock (however, they are similar in terms of design).

I could technically also upload the music... but because of how this site works, I'll just not upload it here. Unless I get told that it's okay.

Rhythm Tengoku (Arcade) a.k.a. My Only Other Option

Me and a group of friends are trying to get the Tempo Up! sprites/music (even though this post is in a sprite thread, but...) from the arcade version of Rhythm Tengoku. But so far... I've had little luck in getting anyone to help us. I tried asking the translation team, I tried making a ROMHacking post, I tried a Strawpoll, there was a Rhythm Heaven (Arcade) sheet on Spriters' Resource, but then that got removed... I don't wanna question this site's methods, but what's the deal? We do have recreations of the sprites, but they're probably not as arcade-accurate as we want them to be. Basically, this is a last, desperate call for help. And if you want to help us get the assets that we need, and you have a Discord, then please contact me using this IVery Sad TheNewOrchestra#2255. Please, if you are able to get the assets that we need, contact me as soon as possible. I'm signing out for now.

It's also confirmed that Pokemon Gold and Silver are coming to the 3DS virtual console, so if you want a bit of nostalgia instead of playing the more fleshed out HG/SS then by all means knock yourself out once that happens.



Personally, now I have a reason to get a switch just based on the fact that I was kind of holding off on getting any new Wii U games for awhile, seems like that's paying off.

Ripping From Shadow The Hedgehog (GameCube)

I've been able to rip from most. The .DFF files when you export the .One files however, are another thing. I'm able to import parts into Blender but things such as the Character's hands aren't importable. Not sure why either. They are .DFF files also. The character is fully rigged in 3DS Max using a importer script if you find it online but again, no hands.

Another thing are the stages. The only way it seems is too use 3D Ripper DX in Dolphin Emulator to get the model but it takes up too much time as the game is loaded in chunks and exporting all of the stages would take hours I don't have.

Not sure why a tutorial hasn't been released, STH ripping is just beginning and we have no way of communicating the info.

TL;DR: Shadow The Hedgehog ripping needs more attention. Can't rip didn't .DFF formats or stages unless using 3D Ripper DX.

How do I convert/make a font from the fonts available on Spriters Resource? I apologize in advance if this is the wrong place to submit this kind of question. I felt it was the most fitting place for it. In case the font already exists, It is the font found in Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, and it looks like this:

I've been trying to get back into making pixel art, I kind of dropped off last year when the school year started, and now I have some free time again. Here I decided to experiment with posing, which is why I'm here. I wanted to work with a different style, hopefully one I can make my own, and included the Shantae styled sprite of my character as a reference. The figure's pose is supposed to be a fighting stance, but it feels off. I wasn't going for any specific stance and just drew up a generic pose.

hello, i currently need help for extracting sprite file from game Ar Tonelico, which is mainly from RPK.BIN file. but the bad thing is, almost every tools that needed extract RPK.BIN couldn't be found in internet nowadays (even can't retrieve some of them) like Rpkextract.rb. Only the survived tools is exar2rpk which is from http://asmodean.reverse.net/pages/exar2.html, but the downside is it's only work for Ar Tonelico 2. i need help from you if it's possible to ripping this game currently.

Btw, if any of you still had rpkextract.rb (this taken down from internet [Image: [colon]%28.gif] ), can you spare this file to me, because i really need it for my project.

Mario Kart: Double Dash!! The Unused Course

You might already seen this at The Cutting Room Floor, but i wanted to show this off at Model Resource for a quite a while.
This early Sherbet Land course (dekoboko) was found in the European Demo Disc 10 for Mario Kart: Double Dash!! This course is not in other versions of the game so it's the only one found hidden in it. There will be more unused models such as the Reverse Cup Trophy and the Hot Air Balloon in Dry Dry Desert.

Donkey Kong Country custom/edited sprites

Hello everybody. I've got a ton of custom DKC sprites that I've been working on since 2011.

Anyway, I'd posted here before, but I feel like now they're ready to be added, potentially. I've not really messed with them for a while, and I'm still happy with them, so I think they are "finished" for now. I do realize that my edits are not perfect. This is an incredibly tough thing to do. Basically, I take bits and pieces of existing sprites and combine them together and fit them together as best I can to make them into a new sprite. I do that over and over to create the whole animation. From there, I tweak it until I feel like it's as good as it's going to get. I am not creating anything from scratch with these, they are all made from pre-existing sprites. With Kiddy Kong being the one with the fewest number of sprites, his edits are the most difficult. Please try to take into consideration the fact that these take me hours to do a single animation. Again, I realize they aren't perfect, but it's what I can make given what I've got to work with. My goal was to make all of the Kongs compatible with all of the games (so for instance, honey walls only appear in DKC2, so DK and Kiddy don't have animations for using them).

I've been helping out with a custom project, DKC4 The Kong's Return. All of my custom sprites are always seen first at the DKC-Atlas, then once I've gotten them to where I'm satisfied, they go to my DeviantArt page (I'm not like an "active" user, it's just a good place to keep everything in one spot). I also do custom levels, but I won't upload any of those here.

I'm going to start small here and not post everything at once. To start, here is DK.

Ripping 3D Models from PS1 Games? Is there a general guide?

Hey guys, there's a few PS1 games I want to extract character models from in order to use them as references for my own 3D modelling work. I was wondering, is there a guide or tutorial out there or any software that opens up PS1 .BIN image files? 

I've been looking around for a while now, and all I've gotten is a ton of different little programs that have fairly poor documentation or explanations on what they actually do.

Edit: Alright, I've tried running ePSXe through Ninjaripper but the games I'm trying to emulate crash when they load. And the games I'm trying to extract 3D models from are Treasure Planet, El Dorado and Atlantis:Lost Empire.

2nd Edit I guess: Okay, so I downloaded TUGZip, which can open the .BIN image files, and I managed to extract the files out of them and into folders. But now I'm trying to find which file format contains the actual 3D models, and I'm fairly certain the .WAD and .DAT files either are them or contain them.

I saw this format which it could be a package that contain character textures for a object (example: link_eye.cmab could be link's eye textures for link's eye object)  can somebody please find out a way to extract the .cmab file and get the textures?  Lenny Face

I already recolored him and going to add the shoulder armor and also the cape. But I'm not sure about the cap cuzZ I can't seem to find good cape sprites and its allot of work :shock: And MAYBE the piece that hangzZ between hizZ lagzZ(but thatzZ a BIG maybe).

Ripping the Reverse Cup in Double Dash!!

The demo disc versions of Mario Kart Double Dash has some unused models such as the Reverse Cup. When i extracted the model to OBJ,
The 1 2 3 place number are both in the model with the gold cup. Is there a way to have them into separate models? Thanks.
