Dump texture error in dolphin (help)

Im porting a another mickey mouse, in these time for a game calls th!nk fast, the model as been ripped, but when i try rip the textures, these appears in black and white, example:

I have no idea how to rip anything, every tutorial online is maddeningly unclear and unhelpful, Blender is the most user-unfriendly program in existence, every game I want to rip uses some stupid obscure file format no program on Earth uses, and if it's not a first-party Nintendo game none of you give a crap. What's the point of even being on here when I can't even contribute?

hey! so, i don't have much extracting experience aside from fortnite and overwatch which had already had a very established community, and very straight foward copy/paste tutorials

i have been trying to extract Marvel Super War, i tried using NinjaRipper but through this route i have to use NOX, which wouldn't install the .APK properly
i have also heard of renaming the .APK to .ZIP and just extracting. and though this worked i'm not sure how to extract the models and textures out after that. 

i was wondering, is there a good, more foolproof way to extract it? it feels like i'm messing it up each step of the way

Hello, I'm a big fan of ArcSys and Granblue Fantasy and wanted to know if there's anyone who has uploaded all of the content such as the 3D models of Granblue Fantasy Versus from PS4? (GBFV for short). I know that it's very hard to reverse-engineer PS4 games in order to get the games content, so whoever is working on getting GBFV it's content ripped, I bid you good luck!

Project X Zone 2 Ustanak sprites

Also is it possible at all to view the 3D model stages that are in the game ?
or is that not possible with 3DS games.

Pokemon HOME 3D Models and Textures (Mobile Version) Help

Has anyone tried extracting the files in the mobile version of Pokemon Home? I wanted to see if it had 3D Models and Textures of the Pokemon since the mobile versions let you view the models of the Pokemon. I tried to extract them with Nox Player and Ninja Ripper but no dice.

So I've actually managed to extract content from the game's WAD file, yet I cannot figure out how to convert/extract/open the .PSM or .PSS files within them. The most information I've gotten from the internet are that this game apparently uses a similar file format to Bionicle: The Game and The Conduit, and that PSM files contain level geometry and PSS files contain textures/models/sounds.

This post goes into more detail on PSS/PSM files, but "conveniently" neglects to mention what program/language they used. Here is a sample .PSM (of the Griffin's house).

Ripping Eternal Darkness SFXs - help requested

This is all the information I recovered on the VGM forums concerning the extraction of Eternal Darkness SFXs, which are great (to me at least) - but I am wondering whether there is a more efficient version of this. such as one that gets filenames out. Thank you vajuvaju 

This is related to the Eternal Darkness ISO, opened with GC Tool.

PARENT FOLDER /Audio:

/Autopsy: .AUD files, all decodable with the latest VGMstream (Custom Vorbis).

/Cinematic: same as Autopsy.

/Effects: MusyX files, all decodable as .dsp with the latest version of Nisto's musyx-extract. The only .dsp files that I couldn't play are "00323 (0x0143).dsp" ("boss" folder), "00363 (0x016Cool.dsp" and "00355 (0x0163).dsp" ("fx" folder). The "menu" folder files all work perfectly (remember, the menu sounds are stereo songs, each split into two mono files!).

/Music: .ADP files, already in the joshw drive.

/Stream: Extension-less files. Rename them to .DSP and you're good to go. The files labelled "l" and "r" are automatically joined and played back as stereo in foobar2000 when you play any of the two files. The rest are mono.

PARENT FOLDER /FMV:
Again, the .AUDs are now playable as Custom Vorbis. Have we figured out a way to play .h4m videos?

These are all I've figured out so far. The rest of the files in the game that I don't know how to decode or extract are in the folders /Ai (.dat), /Chars (.bin, .cpk, .tpl), /Cinematics (extension-less), /Credits (.cmp), /Rooms (.bpe) and, of course, the .h4m videos in /Fmv.

Help needed to rip SFX from Pokemon Battle Revolution

I have extracted the sounds from Pokemon Battle Revolution, but they're in the BASAR files and I only want the Sound Effects like menu sfx and attacks sfx (not the announcer and pokemon cries). Can anyone help?

My sheet got denied because "The sheet does not have a 1:1 pixel ratio. In other words, the sprites are resized or appear stretched in some way."
any ideas why this might have happened?

Hey all,

Recently I inspired myself to create a Windows batch script to help with deciding at which multiple scale to bake diffuse maps for model submissions, designed for the task of baking textures with vertex colours.

(This script requires ImageMagick, located here.)
The script makes each iterative pair of scaled textures comparative by temporarily downscaling the larger of the pair to match the dimensions of the smaller, then uses the RMSE metric to output the difference between that pair.
The script requires at least 2 PNG textures in the script's directory, named as (2n)+"x.png", up to "1024x.png".
e.g. "1x.png", "2x.png", "4x.png", "8x.png", "16x.png"...

A difference of less than 1% has been found, stopping.

From this output you can then easily determine the point of diminishing returns, at which the texture's fidelity is not worth the scale.

In this example the difference in iterations between 8x and 16x is 2.55%, and between 16x and 32x is 0.98%, from which we can then assume the appropriate scale to be 16x.

Hi, I'm trying to extract the game files from Heroland and I'm using Hactool but I can get as far as extracting the NCA files.
When I try to extract the NCA files contents, it creates an empty folder. I have the keys.txt I extracted from my Switch using Lockpick in the same folder.
Any ideas why it doesn't extract?
