Hey everyone, so I know that this is just another one of those basic movie side-scroller games but I'd love to be able to get my hands on a few models from the Cat in The Hat movie game for PS2 for Papercraft or 3D Printing purposes...

I have zero experience ripping models from games and I was wondering if someone could either rip the models and/or give me a hand in getting this game posted? I kinda grew up playing this and it would mean the world to me...

Salutations, I had my doubts about posting this here, but since it relates to ripping models I may as well. TLDR at the bottom.


So, I have been doing a personal project of ripping Azran Legacy's character models (Perhaps Miracle Mask in the future?) for the past half year, and Desmond was the main character I was going for. So, of course I was hyped when I finally managed to locate and extract his character file via Karameru and viewed the model itself on Metanoia.
... Unfortunately, there seemed to be something strange with Desmond's character file compared to the rest of the character files that I compared it to.

For Desmond, there was only one ".mtn2" file, which was supposedly the animation file, at least from what I heard. In comparison, I checked Descole, Luke and Aurora's character files, and there was multiple .mtn2 files instead. No big deal, right? Well, that's what I thought.
Originally, you can right click on these .mtn2 files to export them, and then import them when viewing the model in question. For example, whenever I applied Descole's .mtn2 files to his own model, they worked flawlessly, and each .mtn2 file had it's own animation for him.
For Desmond, however...? It's hard to really put it into words, so I recorded what happened instead;

To at least try to summarize what happened, all of the animations were in one .mtn2 file, and thus I suppose it clashed with one-another and created some rather... Unique results.
So, if anyone knows if there's a fix for this, or at least know why Desmond's .mtn2 files were combined into one, I'd really appreciate it as I've been struggling to figure this out myself.

-A little side note that I doubt will help with this, but thought it was something to point out; The character models that have a "puzzle solved" animation have their own separate character file for those animations alone, which the model itself is notably smaller in size. Desmond's puzzle solved animations on that file are actually just fine, not combined at all for some strange reason.

Oh, and for those who are wondering, it isn't any better on Blender. Exported the animation as a ".smd" file and the model as a ".dae" properly, and imported them both into Blender (using a plugin for importing the .smd file, of course). The program crashed when it got to the messed up animation of him readjusting his tie.



TLDR; Desmond's character file has a combined .mtn2 file for an unknown reason compared to the other characters and his animations got messed up because of it. I want to know preferably if there's a way to fix this, or if anyone has any idea what may have happened to cause this.

I recently saw sprites of Taiga Aisaka from the anime Toradora in a game called Zettai Hero Project, so I decided to make some Ryuuji Takasu customs from the game's sprites. After I made them, though, I noticed the height difference between an average character and Taiga was much too small, so I made Ryuuji two pixels taller in all his sprites.
The sheet is pending right now. I hope it gets in...

Hello, i was wondering if there is a way to rip textures/models from games which are working under OpenGL. Unfortunately Ripping Ninja doesn't work. (works only for directx games) Is there a way to rip the files with another program? thank you

Hey i'm pretty new to blender and brand new to ripping and had some questions. I'm trying to set up a level for import into unity but I have been running into some problems. I was able to decompile the .prx level file into an importable .scn file, importing it into blender 2.79b using the thugtools addon (not available for 2.8). Things I noticed being that textures only show up in material preview, exporting as fbx messes up the textures, importing the project into 2.8 messes up the materials, and that materials cant be packed into an fbx file for import into unity iirc. So I guess the question is what do i need to do to prepare the blend file (and others in the future) for export? Need help ripping from the visual novel Spirit Hunter: Death Mark by Experience games, mainly the steam port, Im able to get some of the ost, the credits sequence, and some UI elements from what files my extractor could use. I have two graphic file parts that could be used as an example if you need it. Any and all feedback is appreciated, I hope this will let me learn more on this subject

Heya! I am really new to this whole ripping games stuff. I started a few days ago and successfully ripped assets from Animal Crossing New Horizons using a guide on here. I want to submit some icons - 2d assets that haven't been uploaded on here yet.

Some of them are modular parts (like different icons for eyes etc, but some are just a few pixels moved because they align with another kind of 2d asset) So if i were to put them in a spite sheet they'd look quite repetitive or could be misunderstood as double errors (tho they aren't) also they'd need to go pixel perfect in a sheet so they don't align wrongly. I wanted to ask if there is a possibility/is it allowed to upload them in a .zip folder (all being individual icons) together/besides a 2D sheet with them on there. Since they are not animated i don't know how necessary the sheet is. (In this case i'm talking about the PlayerIcon and CharacterMaker 2D Assets)

Hello, I tried to extract the models of Naofumi (also Naofumi's angry boi variant, his various shields, his Shield Prison & Iron Maiden), Raphtalia (and her two swords), Filo (and her Filolial Queen form) & Melty, there is also two monsters (The Orange Balloon & the Soul Eater), the models were added for a time-limited crossover event with the game called "The Alchemist Code" and I wanted to use the models for fan videos and fan arts. The thing is that I failed to extract them because I'm not skilled enough to extract them on my own (However, I have enough infos to help get the models)

The game is a Unity game, the models themselves are within the new_win32 folder which contains a lot of files, the files are not encrypted, and the models we're looking for are marked with "sb" in the file name. That's the info i came up with during my last datamining...

If you can help me get the models, that would be great. Smile

Hi I'm New to model ripping and i'm currently working on modding yugioh tag force games , i want to replace the models with the ones which were posted by NutmigSlushin and Olganix, the problem is when i import the models into blender in fbx extension its all in pink color and i cant attach textures to the model although i have it already , also tried finding missing files method but didn't work , i read olganix tutorial that said a xml file is translated into a uv mapping which i didn't understand how, if anyone could help me i would greatly appreciate! i'll send you the yugi hair, body and duel disk textures ,the fbx file and xml file map
